As a female in a highly consumer driven city the pressure to purchase an identity surrounds me. Obsession is about the relationship between myself and the act of consumerism. Shopping has transformed from a necessity for survival to a complex indulgent behavior of self gratification. This work is proof of my own spending, as well as my desire to buy what I cannot have.
